"This trick is flawless," says celebrity makeup artist Jim Crawford of his favorite shadow tip. First, apply a 3-in piece of tape from the outer corner of your eye to brow before applying shadow as normal with a small brush. Then simply peel off the tape and soften out the hard edge from the tape with your finger. "You now have a perfectly applied color for your eye shape according to the proportions of your bone structure, so it looks like a pro did it."

Aside from her famous curves, Brooklyn Decker's beachy hair is her other secret weapon, which she credits to nothing more than a post-shower side braid styled with Living Proof: No Frizz and left to dry naturally. "You don’t have to take an iron to it. You don’t have to take a blow dryer to it. There’s no damage done, and it’s just the easiest, quickest way to have that beachy hair," she tells PEOPLE.

"It's also best to let your hair cool before removing the round brush."

I don't do it every day, but if I'm going out for the night or doing full makeup for the day, I'll contour."
